We had the great honour of being invited to the Kurdy Thai Boxing’s end of year house tournament. At first we didn’t know what to expect, but what we experienced there was beyond our imagination.
We were greeted by incredibly spectacular bouts, a friendly, family atmosphere and tables laden with Christmas delicacies. We felt at home in an instant. Mark was also a happy participant, and he and his brother Csabi made the champion sweat in a little game of tag.
Watching the real fighters, we saw that for them there is no yesterday and no tomorrow – only the present moment, the ring and the opponent. They gave it their all! This is how we fight for Mark, every day for the life of our child, and we cannot win without you!
The collection box on the spot raised 438 000 HUF and together with the generous donations of our supporters, we have come closer to a life-saving gene therapy with more than 600 000 HUF.
Our heartfelt thanks go to the Kurdy Thai Boxing community, the participants and everyone who supported us – either with a donation or with their presence. It was not only financial support, but the fact that we could feel your support and love gave us great strength!
